"Archi-Garden Hotel"
Archi-Garden Hotel is a senior hotel which takes architecture culture as theme. Seated at No. 31, Pingjiang Road in the center of the city of Suzhou, it is only 4 km to Suzhou Railway Station and 80 km to Hongqiao International Airport.
Archi-Garden Hotel was originally named Sanhe Hall as residence of the Zhangs during the Qing Dynasty, which had owned four compounds. But due to the vicissitude of time, only part of one compound was preserved up to now. And to protect the existing compound fully and make it suit to the aesthetic and use need of modern people, the compound was altered by a team composed by both German and Chinese experts, who not only added some modern design elements but also had the use function of the compound perfected by increasing such modern life facilities as new air system, terrestrial heat, central air conditioning, LTV, 24h hot water, wireless broad band access, electronic access and so on. And after one year’s design and alteration, Archi-Garden Hotel has won the 2nd Architecture Invention Excellent Prize (compared to OSCAR in Shanghai architectural field) issued by Architectural Society of Shanghai, China.
